Add Page Numbers

Bottom-center is the most common placement for reports and books. Bottom-right works well for documents with footers. Top-right matches academic and legal formatting conventions.

The format field accepts a template like Page {n}, {n} of {total}, or just {n}. {n} is the current page; {total} is the total page count.

If your PDF has a cover or table of contents that shouldn't be counted, set the starting number to a negative value or split the file first using Split PDF, number the content section, and merge it back with the front matter.
